For more than 25 years, coaching has been a meaningful part of my life and work. I have had the privilege of supporting coaches around the world as they build confidence, refine their skills, achieve certification goals, and grow in mastery.

My Coaching Journey

I discovered coaching while working in corporate marketing at a time when the coaching profession was not well recognized or understood. When I met someone who introduced herself as a life coach, I was immediately fascinated. The idea of becoming a coach, and doing work that truly made a difference, called to me in a powerful way. I found my path initially through the Academy for Coach Training, followed by a diverse array of specialized coach training programs along the way.

More than 25 years later, I still feel grateful for the journey that began with that aha moment, and that ultimately led to achieving my MCC credential in 2018.

My work has included life coaching and executive coaching in independent practice and through coaching organizations, including Robbins Research International and The Marcus Buckingham Company.

Supporting Coaches Through ICF Mentor Coaching and Supervision

My first experience mentoring other coaches began while serving as an Executive Strengths Coach for The Marcus Buckingham Company, where I continue to support coaching professionals pursuing certification in the StandOut Assessment Debrief and StandOut Strengths Coaching.

I found this work energizing and deeply fulfilling, setting me on the path to becoming a Certified Mentor Coach and Certified Coach Supervisor, both in 2019, with a focus on supporting ICF coaches.

One of my continuing education experiences was becoming a Certified Spiritual Life Coach with the Life Purpose Institute (LPI). I later served on the LPI faculty, facilitating the Advanced Practicum, a group mentor coaching program for its newly trained coaches.

In 2026, I was among the first wave of coaches to receive the ICF Mentor Coach Specialization designation at the ACC, PCC, and MCC levels—enabling me to support coaches at every stage of their credentialing journey under ICF’s evolving standards.

My work is now primarily dedicated to supporting other coaches through mentoring and supervision.

A few more things about me

One of my most exciting personal accomplishments has been to write and publish a multiple award-winning book, Give Wings to Your Dreams: Reawaken Your Joy and Passion for Life, inspired by my own life experiences, as well as the breakthroughs I witnessed with my life coaching clients over the years.

Before becoming a coach, I held marketing leadership roles with Silicon Valley technology companies. Originally from Texas, I graduated magna cum laude from the University of Houston with a Bachelor of Science in Technology.

I live in Santa Barbara, California, where I enjoy gardening, biking, hiking, kayaking, and walking along the beach.
