ICF Mentor Coaching

Private One-on-One ICF Mentor Coaching for ACC, PCC & MCC Coaches

Focused feedback. Deeper learning. Customized for you.

One-on-one mentor coaching is ideal for coaches who want individualized, focused feedback in a confidential and supportive setting. It creates space to fully attend to your individual goals, explore your recordings in depth, receive detailed and actionable feedback, and provides the flexibility to pace your learning in a way that fits your schedule.

Whether you are working toward an ACC, PCC, or MCC; renewing your ACC credential; or simply committed to becoming a more masterful coach, we will create a mentoring experience shaped around your goals and the way you learn best.

Qualified to Mentor at Every Credential Level: MCS-ACC, MCS-PCC, and MCS-MCC

What I bring to our work

I am an ICF Master Certified Coach (MCC) with more than 25 years of diverse coaching experience, including executive and life coaching. I hold the new [Mentor Coach Specialization] (MCS) at all three levels: MCS-ACC, MCS-PCC, and MCS-MCC.

I have supported coaches at all three levels to successfully achieve their credentialing goals. I appreciate the depth of learning and relationship that one-on-one mentoring makes possible.

Beginning January 1, 2027, ICF requires that any new mentor coaching hours completed for credentialing, credential renewal, or other ICF purposes to be provided by a mentor coach with the appropriate Mentor Coach Specialization (MCS) qualification.

A safe, supportive place to learn and grow

I am sensitive to the discomfort, vulnerability, and performance anxiety that can arise in anticipation of having your coaching observed and reviewed. I am deeply committed to providing a mentor coaching environment where you feel safe and respected – one in which you can be open, take risks, and grow in a supportive, encouraging space tailored to your needs.

“Lauren is clear, direct, patient and kind. Her professionalism and warmth are a rare combination. She really knows the ICF competencies and I felt like I was in really good hands the whole time.”  — Marlena deCarion, MCC

What we will focus on together

In our work together, you can expect:

  • A confidential, nonjudgmental space for learning
  • Observations that highlight your strengths as well as your opportunities for growth
  • Direct, practical feedback offered with care and encouragement
  • Feedback grounded in the ICF Core Competencies and calibrated to the credential level you are pursuing
  • Enough structure to support progress, with enough flexibility to honor your personal learning style

“Lauren helped elevate my skills as a professional coach through her seasoned expertise, encouraging guidance and authentic desire to help me grow. She partnered with me throughout our engagement to co-create our sessions.”  — Sesha Yalamanchili, ACC

Feedback that builds on your strengths

My clients describe my feedback as direct, kind, and specific—grounded in a strengths-based approach that recognizes what is already working while identifying meaningful opportunities for growth.

The aim is not perfect coaching. Even at the MCC level, perfection is not the standard. Instead, we listen for how your coaching demonstrates the breadth, depth, and integration of the ICF Core Competencies.

No single recording is likely to reveal every competency nuance, possibility, or strength you bring to your coaching. Each recording offers a valuable window into your strengths and opportunities for further development.

My intention is to help you gain new insight, deepen your understanding of the ICF competencies, build confidence and skill with full appreciation for the value you already bring to your clients.
