Lauren Sullivan, MCC, CMC

I discovered my love of coaching nearly 20 years ago when I chanced upon someone who was doing coaching work. I was enthralled by the idea of it, but dismissed it as an option for me in the moment. I later came across a book by Cheryl Richardson, one of the early pioneers in the industry and I was captured hook, line and sinker. I couldn’t wait to find my way into the profession.

I have been coaching now for over eighteen years in a variety of capacities from life coaching to executive coaching.

In 2017, I began my journey of mentoring other coaches while working as an Executive Strengths Coach for The Marcus Buckingham Company. In doing so, I discovered a new passion for supporting other coaches to continually grow and enhance their skills and confidence.

In 2019, I became a Certified Mentor Coach(CMC) as a way to grow and enhance my own skills in support of those seeking their next level of ICF certification. As I was working on my CMC, I discovered this thing call Coaching Supervision and became a Certified Coach Supervisor in December, 2019. What can I say? I’m a lifelong learner with a little bit of a pioneer spirit and I love supporting other coaches along their path toward coaching mastery!

I received my original coach certification from The Academy for Coach Training in 2001 and have engaged in many coach training programs, including receiving my Spiritual Coach Certification from the Life Purpose Institute in 2015. I have recently joined the faculty of the Life Purpose Institute to teach advanced coach training programs.

I was awarded my Master Certified Coach (MCC) credential with the International Coach Federation in 2018 so I know what it takes to get there! I am also a Board Certified Coach (BCC) with the Center for Credentialing and Education.

One of my most exciting accomplishments has been to write and publish an award-winning book, Give Wings to Your Dreams: Reawaken Your Joy and Passion for Life.

I’m originally from Texas, where I graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Technology from the University of Houston. I spent many years in marketing and management with technology companies in Silicon Valley.

I now live in beautiful Santa Barbara, California where I enjoy hiking, kayaking and walking on the beach. You can often find me working a jigsaw puzzle on my dining room table. I am married and have two adult sons.
